Flying squirrels.
 
Also known as Gliders. These animals usually do not create an entry point but will enter though small existing gaps or vents.
 
A true nocturnal animal that is only active at night. Rarely seen as they glide from tree to tree in the dark.
 
Flyers can be destructive to insulation, ducts, pipe hose, stored materials and will chew electrical wires which could cause fires.
 
Flyers are known parasite carriers of fleas, tics and mites.
 
Fecal droppings are often misidentified as being from bats or mice.
 
 
Flyers are social animals and may live in colonies of a few animals to several dozen at a time in a single attic space.
